Thank you for completing the Waite Vision LASIK self-test.  Based on your responses indicating with your natural eyesight you do not have difficulty with either near or distance vision, you currently are unlikely to be a candidate for one of our modern procedures.  Patients whose vision is clear without glasses or contacts do not need LASIK, although everyone who lives long enough develops an eye condition called presbyopia, which usually develops sometime in your 40’s.  When this happens, the inner eye lens loses flexibility and makes it more difficulty for the lens to focus from far to near vision.

We recommend you continue to have regular eye exams with your optometrist with dilated pupils to maintain optimal eye health.  When you begin to experience difficulty with your near or distance vision, please try our LASIK self-test again.
